Who we are
This website is operated by H&O Driver Solutions Ltd ("HODS"), company number 17452374, registered office 2B Thorpe Crescent, London, England, E17 5BY. Contact: Office@HODrivers.com.
HODS is the controller of personal information submitted through this website.
What we collect
- Driver applications: your name, email, mobile number, general location and optional postcode, contact preference, licence categories, driving experience, CPC and tachograph card status, availability and preferences, current working arrangement and, if you choose to give them, company details.
- Employer enquiries: company details, the main contact's name, job title, email and telephone, and your driver requirements.
- Contact messages: your name, email, optional telephone, subject and message.
- A one-way scrambled version of your internet address, used only to prevent spam and repeated automated submissions.
We do not ask for identity documents, licence scans, National Insurance numbers or bank details through public forms.
Why we use it
To review and respond to your enquiry or application, to consider whether you may be suitable for driving opportunities or whether we can help with your driver requirements, and to keep a record of the enquiry. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and taking steps at your request before entering into any arrangement.
How enquiries are reviewed
Submissions are stored securely and are visible only to authorised HODS staff. Submitting a form does not create an account, a booking, an assignment or any contractual relationship. If an application or enquiry progresses, we may contact you to request further information through an appropriate secure process.
Marketing preferences
Driver applicants may optionally ask to receive occasional updates about future driving opportunities. This is never a condition of applying, and you can withdraw at any time by emailing us.
Retention
We keep enquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, after which it is reviewed and deleted or anonymised. Information that becomes part of an ongoing business relationship is handled under the relevant contractual and legal retention requirements.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We use trusted service providers to host this website and store submissions. Where an application progresses toward a specific assignment, relevant information may be shared with the prospective client only as needed and with appropriate notice.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your information, and to data portability. To exercise them, email us. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
